Today the First draft pick was announced for the 2008 draft before the draft even occurs on saturday. The Miami Dolphins had the first pick and they used it to pick an Offensive Lineman. They picked Jake Long from the Michigan Wolverines. He will make 30million dollars guaranteed money over a 5 year contract. Wow that is alot of money just to play a game.
Though i think the Dolphins and Parcells made a smart pick going to rebuild their OL it kind of takes all the excitment away with them signing him 4 days early. Usually many people watch the Draft mainly to see who the first pick will be even though they pretty much know its not usually a guaranteed sign. Though i guess this year i will be watching the draft to see who number 2 will be
